Russell Brand found himself being transformed into a meme recently, after a Twitter user noted how his style of prose and general verbosity often makes him sound as though he is performing a rendition of Blur’s ‘Parklife’, which featured a wordy spoken chorus from actor Phil Daniels.
Pretty soon people were uploading video mashups of Brand and the Blur track, one of which you can watch below:
However, Brand has now responded to these parody videos with a video of his own, mocking those who make fun of his polysyllabic vocabulary whilst also continuing to lash out at the government, as he continues to promote the anti-establishment message he delivers in his book ‘Revolution’.
