Last month at Comic-Con International, DC Comics’ Vertigo line revealed its plans to unleash 12 new series in consecutive weeks beginning in October. Ahead of the new round of solicitations for November, Vertigo has provided CraveOnline with the covers and solicit text for two of those new titles.
First up is Unfollow, a new series by writer Rob Williams and artist Michael Dowling that focuses on a dying social media mogul’s macabre plans. 140 people have been randomly chosen to inherit the mogul’s vast wealth…but only if they happen to still be alive when he dies. That means it’s open season on the 140, as the evenly divided share of the mogul’s billions rises every time one of them dies.
UNFOLLOW #1
A dying social media mogul leaves his billions to be split evenly between 140 random people—or however many of them are still alive at the moment of his death. Rob Williams (MARTIAN MANHUNTER, THE ROYALS: MASTERS OF WAR) and Michael Dowling (Death Sentence) assemble a cast that includes a young black man trying to get by in St. Louis, an Iranian reporter in need of hope, a retired special forces soldier with a strange sense of purpose, and a thrill-seeking heiress, in this thriller that shows we’re all still part of the food chain.

Next up is Survivor’s Club, an intriguing tale of six people who lived through horrific experiences in 1987. They survived poltergeist possessions, haunted houses, and even killer dolls before finding each other in the present through the internet. But now the six grown survivors must confront their destinies as the occult events start happening again.
Survivor’s Club was created by novelist Lauren Beukes and video game journalist Dave Halverson, with artist Ryan Kelly.
