Fortunately, being a fan of Han Kjobenhavn does not require being able to pronounce this Danish label’s name. Founded in Denmark in 2008, the brand established itself by starting with one key product: eyewear. Since then, the brand has seriously expanded to include everything from (very) fashion forward apparel, to accessories that are understated but somehow dramatically unique in their design, like split gloves and colorblocked beanies.
As for the roots, Han Kjobenhavn frames are perfect for optical or fashion purposes. All the frames are made with the very best products, and built to impressive specs, to ensure a great fit. The nine different models are all made with Italian acetate, with Japanese nickel free hinges, and premium Carl Zeiss lenses. Across the nine iterations of frames, the colorways go from demure (like “bone”, a matte taupe color) to something a little more exciting, like amber tortoise with transparent green details.

The frames will run you about $115-$145, converting from euro to dollar, and your new shades will be promptly shipped from a land far, far away from anywhere stateside.
