This past Monday everyone took some time out of their day to look at the eclipse that hasn’t occurred since 1979. And one dude was arrested for looking at the eclipse, too. Well, let us explain.
A 22-year-old Florida named Jocsan Feliciano Rosado was being pursed by Orange County police for stealing a car when he decided that it would be a bright idea to pull over and park at Harbor Freight Tools. And why did he pull over? To buy a welder’s mask to view the eclipse. Makes sense. When Rosado bought the mask, he walked back to the stolen car, put on the mask and started watching the eclipse. And that was the chance needed for police to arrest him.
“He never saw it coming.,” is what the police had to say on their Facebook. And they’re right, Rosado had no clue that was going to happen. I mean, just look at his face.

In other news, you can still burn your eyeballs off looking up at the sun with only a welder’s mask on.
