The local news tends to be a bit stale when it comes to engaging programing. It’s difficult to sit through an entire half-hour broadcast and not ask yourself why you’re dedicating any time to watching such a thing.
But every so often comes a reason to watch, and the intrigue stems from beyond the local stories. Sometimes, just sometimes, a hero comes along to entertain the snoozing audience with energy that can only come from dancing in cargo shorts to a beat only they can hear.
That hero has come to save us.
Dude Sees Himself On Newscast, Busts Out Dancing
Bryan Amann is a man who works at a logistics company in Scottsdale, Arizona, but recently he became the “Scottsdale Dancing Man” thanks to his efforts during a broadcast on local news.
Amann said he was working in his office building when he noticed the newsfeed for local station FOX 10 report on a car crash. From the report, he noticed the crash took place in the very near vicinity of his office.
So what does one do when the local news is covering a story near you? Break out into the robot, that’s what.
“When I ran over there, I had to look at my phone to make sure that the guy was looking at me. You gotta get the guys attention and then when he had me on the zoom it was go time,” said Amann, according to FOX 10. “As I was doing my moves, I had to make sure I was still in the screen, because I wouldn’t want to waste good dance moves.”
Truth — never waste good dance moves. Also, props to Bryan for doing his thing while rocking a salmon-colored polo shirt and what looks like cargo shorts. Nothing but bravery there.
