One of the most famous betrayals of all time is about to begin on AMC’s Turn: Washington’s Spies!
Since his introduction to the series last season, fans have watched Owain Yeoman’s General Benedict Arnold suffer from slights real and imagined. Arnold’s love for Peggy Shippen (Ksenia Solo) has also blinded him to her true loyalties as she subtly influenced his anger and his actions. Now, the tipping point has been reached and Arnold is ready to negotiate a deal with the British to betray General George Washington (Ian Kahn) and the entire American rebellion!
In CraveOnline’s exclusive scene from tonight’s episode of Turn: Washington’s Spies, Arnold is less than pleased with the first offer he receives from the British. But Peggy has a way in mind to help Arnold get what he wants while furthering her own agenda.
That’s not the only crisis this week. Abraham Woodhull (Jamie Bell) had plans to kill Major Hewlett (Burn Gorman) in order to protect his secret and his family. Naturally, he’s less than pleased that his ally, Anna Strong (Heather Lind) has made plans to leave the Culper ring behind and marry Hewlett!
