Remember that time you went to Taco Bell and you stuffed your face and then found yourself on the toilet a couple of hours later? Well something tells me that stomach pain of yours wasn’t as bad as the dude in this story.
A man named Maksud Khan was rushed to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, after complaining of stomach pain. And why did the 35-year-old have stomach pain? Oh, you know, he just had a bunch of metal in his stomach — about 7kg of metal. Surgeons were shocked to discover that Khan had 263 coins, 100 nails and dozens of razor blades in his stomach.
Here’s what Dr. Priyank Sharma had to say about this crazy discovery:
“The patient was complaining of stomach pain, so we thought of getting an endoscopy done. We were shocked to discover coins, nails and nut-bolts in his stomach.”
Khan’s family believe he began to eat metal objects after developing depression but kept his crazy eating habits a secret from everyone. Khan worked as a driver and would usually swallow coins given to him by customers. Oh boy, a tip jar works better, buddy.

Luckily for Khan, doctors do not believe there will be any lasting damage to his internal organs. Khan has also told the doctors that he will never eat metal again. Well, we also hope he never does.
