Most of the time, if you’re told you look like a celebrity, it’s a compliment. Not so for one unnamed TikTok user who goes by the handle @notbrianlaundrie and bears an uncanny resemblance to Brian Laundrie, the bald Florida fugitive suspected of murdering his fiancée, Gabby Petito.

“I would just like to put all of these rumors to death,” he said (no pun intended, surely) in one of his several viral posts.
Humor aside, being Laundrie’s doppelganger is actually pretty dangerous right now. Plenty of people want to see this guy brought to justice – and we don’t mean the kind you find in a courtroom. In one of his videos, @notbrianlaundrie asks viewers for safety tips as he prepares for a trip.

“I’m flying across the country tomorrow for my cousin’s wedding, and it’s a pretty long flight,” he said. “So if you have any tips for me on how not to get attacked or accused of being this guy, get at me. Duet this or leave a comment.”
The manhunt for the real Laundrie, who has been “missing” for over two weeks, is currently in full swing. The FBI has issued a warrant for his arrest for “knowingly and with intent to defraud” using one or more “unauthorized access devices, namely a Capitol One Bank debit card” belonging to Petito. (Real douche move there, Brian.)
