Hannibal is moving to Thursdays this summer on NBC.
Earlier today, NBC officially revealed the premiere dates for some of its summer lineup, including a two hour block of dramas on Thursday nights. Hannibal will return for its third season on NBC on Thursday, June 4. The new ‘60s period thriller, Aquarius will premiere the week before on Thursday, May 28 with two episodes back-to-back before ceding the 10pm timeslot to Hannibal in the subsequent weeks.

Hannibal Season 3 will remix the characters and events from Thomas Harris’ novels Red Dragon and Hannibal, while providing a new origin story for Dr. Hannibal Lecter. New to the cast this season are Joe Anderson, Richard Armitage; Nina Arianda, Rutina Wesley and Glenn Fleshler. Former Heroes star, Zachary Quinto was also recently signed to make a guest appearance on Hannibal.
NBC’s Unscripted and American Ninja Warrior will bow on Monday, May 25, while America’s Got Talent gets another season on the following night, Tuesday, May 26. NBC has not yet announced return dates for its remaining summer shows, Last Comic Standing and Welcome To Sweden.
