A man caught taking upskirt photos on a packed subway train in Nanjing, China has become a viral video villain in the country, after he was confronted by the woman he was trying to photograph and humiliated in front of his fellow passengers.
The woman recorded a video of her confronting the man on the train, with him having concealed a hidden camera in a garment bag, according to a description of the incident from People’s Daily. The woman then forces the man to bite into the SD card on which he has stored the images, effectively destroying his day’s work of being a shameful creep.
The video garnered a lot of attention on China’s microblogging platforming Weibo, attracting hundreds of thousands of views along with messages of support for the woman. According to People’s Daily, the man was later detained by local police as a result of his actions. It is not known whether he faced further punishment.
