Trump Plane Makes Emergency Landing After Engine Fails (So He’s Flushing Documents There, Too?)

Former reality show host Donald Trump loves making big plans. From the launch of Truth Social to fulfilling his dream of a bromance with Vladimir Putin, the king of Palm Beach has spent a lifetime building castles in the sand. However, oftentimes those plans unravel faster than Ivanka Trump’s garment business. In fact, a recurring theme in Trump’s legacy is seeing his plans take flight only to watch them fall out of the sky moments later. So it was only a matter of time before Trump himself literally fell out of the sky in a private jet.

It happened on his way home from a speaking engagement at the Four Seasons in New Orleans where Trump was busy flirting with wealthy Republican donors for money. After the event, the orangest president of all time borrowed a donor’s plane and headed back to Mar-a-Lago. But the hop over the Gulf of Mexico was cut short after 20 minutes when one of the plane’s engines failed, forcing pilots to make an emergency landing back in Louisiana.

Ever the chiseling opportunist, Trump used his near-death experience to start a fundraiser asking folks to fix his Boeing 757 (which is currently sitting in disrepair at a small airport outside Poughkeepsie, NY). Blasting an email to his Save America PAC listserve, the plane-less businessman claimed his “team is building a BRAND NEW Trump Force One.” Hopefully, they remember to put wings on it.

For now, designs of the “new” plane are under wraps (as in the engines are literally wrapped in plastic tarps to keep the rats out.) Despite this, the man who collects federal documents and bad debts in equal measure is excited about the future, telling supporters, “I can’t wait to unveil it for everyone to see.” Us neither, big guy.
