Should we just create a hub simply for these bad teacher stories? Something to consider. Until we make up our mind let’s talk about 30-year-old teacher Jaclyn Truman, a substitute teacher at Hagerty High School in Oviedo when this crime occurred. We need to talk about her because she was busted after having a two-month sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female student.
The student herself actually told police that her and Truman had consensual sex between five and 10 times, all occurring in a classroom. Truman, who is now a sign language teacher at Lake Howell High School, handed in her letter of resignation once everything was revealed. And good luck getting another teaching job, lady.
This all came to a halt when a report was made to child protective services about the allegations, forcing the police to intervene.
Truman has now been been charged with two counts of lewd acts on a minor.
And yes, I’m sure we’ll get another one of these stories tomorrow.
