Certain subjects in school require that teachers get creative. Students just can’t grasp concepts that don’t intrigue them. A math teacher in Taiwan apparently realized this…because he started using Pornhub to attract and retain his pupils’ attention.
Known on the site as “changhsumath666,” 34-year-old Chang Hsu has racked up 1.9 million views and accumulated close to 7,000 subscribers with his “Play Hard, Study Hard” philosophy.
The Masters-level instructor launched his Pornhub channel last year after failing to resonate with YouTube viewers. He eventually came (ahem) to the conclusion that people on porn sites aren’t only there for naughty nudity. In fact, his lessons are conducted fully clothed.
“I asked myself where to find my target students, say college boys, and the answer popped out: adult video platforms,” he has said. “The online-teaching market is highly competitive, and I can now attract 1,000 students each year, compared with an average of a few hundred for a calculus tutor.”
And his strategy continues to evolve. He recently hinted that “it will no longer be just me in the videos,” which sounds very titillating indeed. All we can say is lucky number threesome is our favorite – and we hope he covers it in-depth in an upcoming course.
