We don’t know why they ever called it “the friendly skies.” These days, there’s nothing amicable about air travel. In fact, airplanes have become their own kind of war zone. From unruly passengers to animals that have no business being on-board, there’s a wild card in every seat of the aircraft.
In honor of the shitshow that has become air travel, we rounded up the 12 weirdest and funniest in-flight incidents from 2021. Read ‘em and remind yourself that even your worst flight has been nowhere near as awful as these stories. Then try being a better passenger – and setting an example for others – the next time you fly. The poor flight attendants and crew deserve at least that much.
