The Chrysler 300 is a very important vehicle in the automaker’s lineup. Intended as an affordable luxury sedan, Chrysler also looks to make it something of a stealth pseudo-performance car, putting a little more oomph into it than its conservative exterior might indicate.
Chrysler brought the latest Chrysler 300 to the LA Auto Show this year, using the big unveiling to declare the 300 the “face of Chrysler” moving forward. They made a few weeks to the car’s stately facade, but didn’t venture too far afield. If the 2015 300 is going to be new, the changes come from within. It was a good looking car already, if a little conservative. So, there was no need to break out the colored pencils.

Under the hood, the 300 will get updated versions of its 292 horsepower V6 or a 363 horsepower Hemi V8 (reminiscent of the engine that goes into the upper trim level Dodge Charger (Hellcat aside). All versions of the 300 get an eight speed automatic, and rear-wheel drive is standard. Buyers can take on an all-wheel drive at higher trim levels.
Exact release dates and sales price levels are yet to be announced. Also, would-be buyer should keep an eye out for both potential SRT and MOPAR enhanced versions of the 300 during 2015.
