This just in: there’s quite the opportunity for you to send off your sperm to Brazil for an actual, legit reason, instead of the usual, “I’m going to send my sperm to Brazil because I’m a creep.” And why is that? Well that’s because plenty of women in Brazil really want sperm from American guys.
According to Newser, the want for American sperm continues to increase, as in 2017 alone hundreds of tubes of imported US semen landed in Brazil. And that’s mainly because Brazil want to make “pretty children.” And according to Brazilians that means white folks with light hair and eyes.

Such imports of overseas sperm have spiked over the last several years, and although same-sex couples still make up the majority of buyers, lesbian couples and affluent, single career women are increasingly scooping up foreign sperm. Brazilian buyers look for “Caucasian blond-haired, blue-eyed donors,” per an exec with a Seattle cryobank. The reason: Most Brazilians are black or mixed race, but the ruling elite are often white; parents-to-be think whiteness will give kids a better shot at high-salary jobs and other perks.
But there’s more. Ladies in Brazil are all about the bundle…of information they get with US donors — a more sophisticated packet when compared to their “local donors.” Newser also adds that imported sperm is pricey, with “Genetically vetted” US samples costing up to $1,500 a vial, and the larger in vitro process can cost up to $7,000. So in a way, you’ll be shaking up the economy in a positive way.
But hey, Brazilian gals want what they want, and what they want is you. Well, just your sperm.
