It’s a father’s job to protect his offspring. So it’s hard for us to be upset that Woody Harrelson came to blows with a photographer for trying to capture his daughter, even if only with a camera lens.
It all went down last week at the Watergate Hotel in Washington D.C. around 11 p.m. Harrelson was in town filming the forthcoming HBO miniseries about the Watergate scandal called The White House Plumbers.
Apparently, an intoxicated man approached the movie star and one of his three daughters and started taking pictures of them. When Harrelson demanded that the sneaky Pete stop and delete the images he took, the man lunged at the celeb and tried to grab him. So Harrelson punched the guy in the neck as self-defense, then called the police.
The interloper, who was staying at the hotel, was questioned by police but charges are still pending. Hopefully he learned his lesson. Of all the famous people to harrass, you might not want to piss off the star of a film titled Natural Born Killers.
