Talk about dirty Laundrie. After weeks of searches, items belonging to fugitive Brian Laundrie were found in Florida’s Carlton Reserve…by his parents, who have been suspiciously tight-lipped and evasive about their son’s whereabouts and actions as they concern the murder of influencer Gabby Petito.
Chris and Roberta Laundrie joined the search for Brian this morning at Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park, and within an hour, they happened upon a backpack that may have belonged to Laundrie, as well as what may be some human remains.
“After a brief search off a trail that Brian frequented some articles belonging to Brian were found. As of now law enforcement is conducting a more thorough investigation of that area,” said Laundrie attorney Steven Bertolino.
It doesn’t take a conspiracy theorist to surmise that Mom and Dad have been involved in Brian’s disappearance since the beginning. But try telling that to Twitter, which found this “discovery” extremely suspect.
While we wait for confirmation from the authorities about who the possessions and body (parts?) belong to, let’s indulge in some good ol’ internet humor.
These are the funniest Twitter reactions to Brian Laundrie’s parents finding his stuff in under an hour of “helping” the search.

The #BrianLaundrie and #GabbyPetito docu-series you will no doubt have planned will now need an additional 3 seasons to explain how Brian's mother managed to find his stuff in an hour, which took Police 5 weeks not to find.— Paul Woodthorpe (@PaulWoodthorpe) October 20, 2021
